MY CAR

Here's the Before and After. You'll notice in the second photo, there's the addition of the boots, definitely a move in the right direction.

Yes, and I painted the car. I fixed the leaf springs, and got a whole bunch of new emblems and decals. I still can't get that driprail molding on, though, and I haven't found a body shop that'll do it. The repros simply do not fit. I may have to take a grinder to the rails, strip the paint off, then try to fold the crappy repros on. If anybody knows anybody that makes good reproduction driprail moldings for a '68. Let me know. Scott Drake's stuff is great, but he doesn't make those.

Special thanks to my night class autobody instructor Jerry Herbison, who did things the old fashioned way. He even performed some lead body work on the Mustang, and that's an art that went out with Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In. In case Jerry doesn't look exactly as you pictured him, I've included a picture here to set the record straight.
